Since 2019, IQRA & I-CARE Trust has been a beacon of hope for students from financially challenged backgrounds, tirelessly dedicated to offering free education, counseling, and guidance. At IQRA & I-CARE, we are committed to providing comprehensive educational support for MBBS students through meticulously organized workshops and subject-specific classes. 6 - IQRA OXYGEN DRIVE
The scarcity of oxygen cylinders became apparent due to the critical demand for this resource in combating the widespread effects of Covid-19 across the nation. Despite the presence of oxygen in various settings, its insufficiency severely constrained efforts to save human lives impacted by the pandemic. Recognizing the crucial role of oxygen in preserving lives during these unprecedented times, the trust initiated the IQRA Oxygen Drive, which has been operational from May 2021 until the present. This comprehensive drive entails the provision of various services, including the free delivery of oxygen-filled cylinders and concentrators, the refilling of empty cylinders, as well as the distribution of oxygen masks and oxygen concentrator equipment, Patient beds, wheelchairs, c-pap, bi-pap machines A notable quantity of approximately 700 beneficiaries have availed themselves of these essential services to date.
7 - IQRA WATER DRIVE
During the food distribution program at Koti Maternity Hospital, we encountered numerous patients requiring access to purified drinking water, which unfortunately came at a cost of Rs 20 per liter. Recognizing the potential harm and life-threatening consequences of the summer heat, our organization initiated the IQRA Water Drive near Koti Maternity Hospital, addressing the absence of clean and treated water facilities in the area. In March 2022, we established a water plant to alleviate this issue. The water plant is not only advantageous to the medical practitioners, nurses, and patients but also extends its benefits to pedestrians passing by, as they can avail themselves of this resource for free. On a daily basis, over 4000 liters of purified cool water are consumed, with an additional 4000 liters dedicated to general usage. The waste purified water is subsequently treated and repurposed for other domestic needs. We serve approximately 8000 liters of water daily, amounting to a monthly provision of around 240,000 liters. This 24/7 free water service has genuinely impacted the lives of many individuals, who now enjoy the benefits of clean water access.
8 - IQRA FOOD DRIVE
The Delta Variant, also known as the second wave of COVID-19, exhibited significantly greater destructive and hazardous effects, leading to the implementation of a second lockdown in the year 2021. To address the essential nutritional needs of patient and attenders facing adversity, our organization initiated a nine-month-long food drive spanning from February to October 2021. This humanitarian effort took place at three prominent locations in Hyderabad: Osmania General Hospital, Koti Maternity Hospital, and King Koti General Hospital. Through this initiative, we diligently provided high-quality, nutritionally rich meals free of charge to over 100 deserving patient and attenders every day. The program’s reach extended to approximately 3,000 individuals on a monthly basis, signifying the substantial impact we made in uplifting the community during this critical time.

9 - IQRA ISOLATION CENTRE
IQRA Isolation Centre: Compassionate Care During COVID-19
In response to the urgent need for medical support during the COVID-19 pandemic from July to October 2020, the IQRA Isolation Centre was established at Al Arif General Hospital in Bandlguda. Our centre proudly served the residents of Telangana, providing vital care to over 300 outpatients and 250 inpatients who tested positive for the virus.
Our facility features a well-equipped general ward and individual wards, accommodating patients from seven days to two months. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including specialist consultations, diagnostics, nursing assistance, and essential monitoring units. Each patient benefits from comfortable beds, oxygen supply, nourishing meals, and transportation—all provided Free of charge to ease the financial burden on families.
Upon arrival, patients are warmly welcomed and thoroughly assessed at our triage cabin, where our dedicated staff offers guidance and counseling. Beyond medical treatment, we ensure that both patients and their attendants enjoy nutritious and hygienic meals, fostering a supportive environment for recovery.
Inspired by the verse from the Quran,
“Don’t frown, turn away or neglect those who come to you (80:10),”
we remain committed to serving every individual with compassion and dignity. At IQRA Isolation Centre, healing begins with care.
10 - IQRA SUNDAY CLINIC
Our organization has taken proactive measures to protect and equip individuals with strong immunity. One of the initiatives we have launched is the IQRA SUNDAY CLINIC, which is held every Sunday in the impoverished region of old Malakpet.
The focus of the IQRA SUNDAY CLINIC is to provide comprehensive healthcare services to those who are most vulnerable and may not have access to quality medical care. Expert doctors generously volunteer their time and expertise to offer complimentary consultations to patients in need. Our clinic also provides essential medicines to patients free of charge. We understand that many individuals in the community may be unable to afford necessary medications. Each week, over 100 patients take advantage of this service. We are not only addressing the immediate health needs of individuals, but also empowering them to take control of their health and well-being
11 - IQRA FLOOD RELIEF
In addition to the devastating impact of COVID-19, the ancient city of Hyderabad was profoundly affected by the October 2020 Flood, causing widespread destruction to personal property, livelihoods, and the hope of many individuals. However, amidst this dire situation, the compassionate volunteers of I-CARE emerged, demonstrating remarkable generosity by providing much-needed assistance to those in need. The Trust took the lead in offering essential provisions such as food, water, blankets, medicines, and clothing to those directly affected by the flood. This humanitarian effort spanned from October 2020 to December 2020, a duration of three months. Approximately 1000 members and over 200 families from the flood-affected areas of Hyderabad were fortunate beneficiaries of this initiative.
12 - IQRA FREE TELECONSULTATION SERVICES
IQRA Teleconsultation Services:
During the COVID-19 pandemic, IQRA Free Teleconsultation Services emerged as a vital lifeline for patients in need. Our dedicated volunteers provided essential, remote healthcare support through virtual platforms and phone consultations.
With unwavering commitment, our specialized doctors delivered free consultations nationwide, addressing the urgent needs of individuals affected by the virus. Daily, our specialists handled over 200 calls, collectively committing an impressive 900 hours each month to ensure accessible healthcare during these challenging times.
Available from April to June 2020 and again from April to June 2021, our teleconsultation services made a significant difference in countless lives, promoting health and well-being when it was needed most.With unwavering commitment, our specialized doctors delivered free consultations nationwide, addressing the urgent needs of individuals affected by the virus. Daily, our specialists handled over 200 calls, collectively committing an impressive 900 hours each month to ensure accessible healthcare during these challenging times.

13 - IQRAHUNGER FEED DRIVE
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound and widespread impact on our society, causing significant losses in terms of lives, employment, housing, and financial stability. Recognizing the gravity of these circumstances, we initiated the Hunger Feed Drive Program from March 2020 to September 2020, spanning six months, until the easing of lockdown restrictions allowed individuals to resume earning and providing for themselves. This program was executed in eight phases across the cities of Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Zaheerabad, and Khammam, ultimately benefiting approximately 5,000 individuals and 1000 families.
The success of this initiative would not have been possible without the unwavering dedication of our committed volunteers, who bravely risked their own well-being to distribute essential provisions to those in need during this unprecedented pandemic.
14 - IQRA MASK DRIVE
The utilization of masks played a crucial role, not just in safeguarding individuals from contracting COVID-19, but also in preserving the well-being of others. In an endeavor to ensure the safety of frontline workers consistently exposed to COVID patients, the trust undertook a two-phase mask drive. During the initial phase, we provided high-quality N-95 masks to the frontline warriors (doctors) at Gandhi Medical College, which served as the exclusive center for managing COVID-19 cases. Amid the second wave, characterized by everyone prioritizing their personal health, the city of Hyderabad owes an immeasurable debt of gratitude to the police officials who relentlessly carried out their duties, regardless of the risks posed to their own well-being, as well as their families’. As an expression of our appreciation, we felicitated 18 police stations with a Thanksgiving kit. This kit comprised N-95 masks, 4-ply masks, ORS packs for hydration, and various other thoughtful gifts. Additionally, we distributed water, biscuits, and juice to the police officials stationed at the check posts
